General Motors Company (GM), valued at $56.04B, started trading this morning at $35.01.
Today, shares have traded between $34.90 and $35.09 per share with a one year range of $31.70 to $41.85.
Priced at 12.57x this year’s forecasted earnings, GM shares are relatively inexpensive compared to the industry’s 19.91x forward p/e ratio.
The company pays shareholders $1.20 per share annually in dividends, yielding 3.30%.
In a review of the consensus earnings estimate this quarter, 15 sell-side analysts are looking at $1.02 per share, which would be $0.06 better than the year-ago quarter and a $0.04 sequential decrease. The full-year EPS estimate is $2.79, which would be a $0.39 better than last year.
