During today’s session, AAPL traded between $537.66 to $543.24 with its 52-week range being $385.10 to $575.14.
AAPL shares are currently priced at 12.26x this year’s forecasted earnings, which makes them relatively inexpensive compared to the industry’s 33.02x earnings multiple for the same period.
And for income investors, the company pays shareholders $12.20 per share annually in dividends, yielding 2.30%.
Consensus earnings for the current quarter by the 47 sell-side analysts covering the stock is an estimate of $14.07 per share, which would be $0.26 better than the year-ago quarter and a $0.26 sequential increase. Investors should also note that the full-year EPS estimate of $43.71 is a $3.96 improvement when compared to the previous year’s annual results.
