In a subdued session, Asia’s regional indices were slightly mixed with Nikkei up +0.73%, the Hang Sang +0.12% and the Shanghai Composite falling –0.73%. While overall, risk was on solid footing, it was the USD that struggled to hold on to its gains. EURUSD rallied to 1.3067 from 1.3004 after spending a majority of the session range bound.
