The USD gained against most of its major counterparts in the European morning as equity markets traded heavy and a lack of significant data allowed risk sentiment to dwindle. Norwegian PMI data disappointed with a 45.8 print in Oct, much lower than forecasts for 47.2 and down on the Sep reading at 46.7.
