I flew A380 to Singapore - London Wed - 100% full Last week I flew HKG-SIN-CGK - 100% full I tried to book SIN-JFK for next 3 weeks - 100% full no seats for 30+ days Average seat cost coach $12,500 HKD your right there was no hairy crabs just a lot of hairy people wth lots of ticket money to travel and vacation.... I think you have this wrong...any downturn as reflected by resteraunts / stores saying people are not buying expensive goods is they what do you want them to say "yeah we sold lots we are rich" thats arrogant and would offend people....any smart business man would tell you what they need to tell you to get you into the store to buy or resteraunt to eat...in fact they would tell you what you want to hear... Please check the hotels where the hairy crabs stay...prices in HKG up 25% is what I would say...or sold out. Check the intercontnental new years eve n TST ...sold out for 30 days average room rate $6,500 HKG for the night....buffett brunch $888++ and full...... I am not trying to buck the curve just letting you know people are saying one thing and doing another...as always people need to observe the surronding and asking about hairy crabs or anything else is second hand information and reporting it usually is someyhng akin to being a salmon swimming up stream....
