Watch: Pactiv Corp. (PTV)

Pactiv Corp. (NYSE:PTV) is one of those “Zombie Stocks”. A name I like to refer to when individual and institutional investors leave a stock for dead. They get bored when the stock makes a big move and then just drifts sideways.

But then something happens…

Lurking from its grave, this stock awakens like a zombie, slowly approaches it’s 52-week moving average, and marches on.

Before you know it euphoria hits and when everyone picks up on the new darling of the street, guess what?

It’s too late!

This is the scenario I see unfolding with ticker P-T-V. A long period of consolidation soon met by an explosive surge to the stars.

Although I am not recommending this play right now, I will keep tabs to see when the MACD finally moves into positive territory.

Keep your trigger finger on hold until I give the green light. If you are really anxious and have to buy in right now, place a 5% loss.
