Jutia Portfolio

The Jutia Portfolio has done quite well over the past month or so. Holders of IP, LDG, MRK, and DNR should be quite satisfied with their gains of 8.39%, 26.70%, 19.12%, and 9.49% respectively. These are great returns, especially since the first two were recommended in early February and the others in late March.

Also, you will notice that we were stopped out of NFX with a 5% loss. Honestly, we can’t expect to hit a homerun on every pitch, but we can have a blast trying!

Stay tuned for my next big idea. For all you long-termers out there check into Taser (TASR) but don’t quote me ;) Just broke out from a three-year consolidation period and should be an excellent hold, possibly doubling or tripling your money over the few next years.

  1. What do you think of DRYS??

the stock was sold on 01/22/07 at 17.39, and today the stock is at 40.5. Did you see this coming?

  2. Sunny,

Thanks for your comment! It is funny that you mention DRYS because I just looked at it today and my jaw dropped. Our investors made 32.14% on Drys so I am happy. To be honest, I didn’t expect the big run up and my system tends to bite off gains in consistently smaller chunks.

My advice to stay away from this stock for a while based on the fact that it has already made its move. Could it go up higher, sure. However, you don’t want to be caught holding the bag if/when it investors decide to take their profits quickly.
