Stock Blocked
This morning I went through my typical screening process, for which the secrets of my investing success cannot be entirely revealed, and came up short on ideas. Of course there were a few decent picks in the bunch.
But who wants to be an “ordinary investor” as said in the E-trade commercials? Not I and neither should you. I want to bring you the best of the best. It is pointless for me to feed you average picks just get a daily post out there. When I have a momentum stock to tout, by George you’ll know it! Who says that LoL…but anyways, you get my point.
Maybe it is foolish of me to throw out my best ideas, but then again you need something to work with so that I can prove my worth and beef up that portfolio of yours
So, as of today I am working mostly with momentum stocks and dipping rarely into high yielding dividend securities. Please let me know if you believe I should be focusing more on the high-yielders or perhaps constructing a solid long-term portfolio. Any other ideas are also welcome.

Stephen: I want it all ;-).
Seriously, keep up the good work. I’m cautious by nature as I’ve said before, so no need to try to be a hero. I’m in MFC and LDG with trailing stops set as recommended.

Ku4a,
Thank you for the kind words. Hopefully I can get the new layout for site up soon because I know it must be annoying to scroll all the way to the bottom just to get to the categories.
I normally just set the 5% stop below the purchase price and let it run until I get a signal to sell. A trailing stop would probably cut you off before the party ever gets started. I just want to make sure you are shadowing me correctly.
Also, I am curious as to when you started using the investment picks on this site. Hopefully you were able to get in on some of the trades which returned well over 30% within the past six months alone

OK, thanks for the info. I’ll plan to go back to a fixed stop.
I just started reading your blog at the first of the year.

I prefer the momentum picks. Also do you have a section where it currently shows your stocks from this blog? Keep up the good work.

I LOVE YOUR SITE, specially when you post charts on momentum stocks…
I am new to your site so I am only looking at LDG for now to break out (or break down, which ever comes first -)
I am an option trader and only trade on momentum so Keep up the good work
Thanks

Ku4a, Bubs, and Rey:
To find the picks that are currently open and have not been liquidated just scroll down to the bottom and go to “Jutia Portfolio.” Here you will not only find the open positions, but the closed ones as well.
Other stocks of mention and discussion can be found under “Investment Ideas” and “High Yield Dividend Ideas.”
The bread and butter for me is the “Momentum Plays” where you will find all the picks that go directly into the Jutia Portfolio.
It is a pleasure to have you all on board. Let’s keep the discussion going and make money together. Don’t forget, if you like the site be sure to tell others about Jutia
