2008 Presidential Polls

In the latest polling, both Hillary Rodham Clinton (D) and Giuliani (R) hold the RCP Average lead for their party’s presidential nomination in 2008. I personally expect McCain to hold his own and eventually find the southern support necessary to put him over the top.
We still have a long way to go, but this time around the 2008 election season is starting earlier than ever. More money and grassroot campaigning should equate to a hard fought battle in the political trenches on both sides. The question is, “How damaged will each party’s candidate come out from their respective primaries?”
