Tom’s DeLayed Blog: Hammered

Tom DeLay’s new blog that is finally up and running. Ironically, this is not his first attempt to establish a blog. On MSNBC’s “DC Dirt” segment, a political analyst reported that his original attempt to start up a blog failed because the site was flooded with so many negative comments that to the ordinary person would come off as rather disturbing. There was a 75 minute period where Tom Delay received unfiltered feedback.

The author of the Daily Kos, a left leaning blog, noted that taking down the site and its content broke with blogger etiquette and that he should have been prepared to accept the good comments with the bad. If you get a chance, read some of the comments on the new site (www.tomdelay.com). More civil, but still very entertaining!
Delay also announced yesterday that Sen. Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.) would be elected president in 2008 and would probably call upon Barack Obama (D.-Ill.) as her running mate. He stated that he would also commence an initiative to look into Obama’s past, saying that Obama’s record in the Illinois Senate was similar to that of a “Marxist leftist.”
