You Need Residual Income – Part II
Residual income allows you to earn more and work less. Now, I do want you to realize that there will have to be some effort on your part in order to make any residual project a success. To jump into it, here are some residual income ideas for you to explore:
- Start a blog (like this one) and earn money every time a visitor clicks on your advertisements
- Benefit from compounding interest, invest money into a fund or some type of fixed income that pays out a predetermined yield (bonds, dividends, high yield savings accounts, etc.)
- Join an Affiliate Program that offers residual income when you refer your visitors to their services and/or products
- Create a subscription based service and have visitors pay residual money in order to receive added benefits, options, or services. For example, Sirius and XM satellite have their subscribers pay a flat fee each month in order to tune into their music and entertainment stations.
- Write a book! It is getting even easier to publish your work online and reach your target markets.
Furthermore, these cashflow devices are mainly intended to relieve you of spending all your time on the terms of others and to work for yourself. It is also important to recognize that many people who do start their own business find that they put in more hours and work twice as hard as before. This may be due to the fact that you are always thinking about how your company is going to survive, manage employees, and try to handle all the other headaches that come with the responsibility of owning a business.
Many residual income projects can be started with little or no cost. Why would you pour money into something if you are not sure it is for you or will even be successful in the first place?
