Pecunia Square

Welcome to Pecunia Square! Here, I will discuss the world of finance and its everyday impact on each of us. It is my goal not to acquire as much money as possible for the sake of having the most, but to become financially independent, spend time with those in life whom I love and have a deep relationship with, and hopefully help others learn the importance of good money management.

No one is perfect and there are always ways in which to improve one’s financial situation. I have made plenty of financial blunders which I will openly discuss in the future because I believe they will serve as valuable lessons to those who have not yet reached that bridge. No one will look after your money better than yourself. You alone are the decision maker. We work hard for our money, so why not take care of it with that same effort?

Why is it that most Americans are programmed to spend themselves into a hole and think it is ok to borrow beyond their means? Today, relationships and marriages are often split on the issue of money. Why do we find ourselves in situations where we feel guilty and pressured into believing that it is ok to take on more and more debt? Virtuous generations of past would commend us in our efforts to save, so why are the savers made to feel like they have some sort of disease? These are just some of the questions and challenges we must overcome to remain financially solvent.

Until next time…
